David McDowell has been President and owner of Techlite since 1987 and specializes in project evaluation, total lighting applications, and lighting consultation. A native of Indianapolis, McDowell is a graduate of Indiana University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Marketing.
Steve Bates joined Techlite in March 2000. He received a BS in Business from Ball State University and an MBA from the University of Indianapolis. He has been in the lighting industry for 22 years and handles specification, contractor, distributor, and D.O.T. sales.
Tom McDowell has been with Techlite since 1989. His professional experience started with Young Automotive Group where he held the position of Executive Manager for 12 years. His responsibilities include distribution and contractor sales along with handling the multi-family and hotel/motel market.
Angela Jungbauer joined Techlite in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts and Science Degree in Interior Design from Indiana University, Bloomington, IN. She is experienced in Auto Cad/3D, space planning, corporate architectural and interior projects, marketing applications, construction and design bids. Her responsibilities at Techlite include assisting the Applications manager as well as sales to architects and interior designers.
E. Eugene Purdue is an Evansville, Indiana native and an Alumni of the University of Evansville with graduate work at the Indianapolis Purdue Univ. extension. He joined Techlite in June, 2007 with 45 years experience in the lighting industry. He is responsible for sales in Southwestern and Northeastern Indiana areas, primarily working design and specifications.
Patrick McDowell joined Techlite fresh out of Indiana University where he majored in Telecommunications. He is a Control's Specialist at Techlite and responsible for contractor & specification sales.
Ryan Davies joined Techlite in 2013. He brings a wealth of theatrical design expertise from collaborations with Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, Indiana Repertory Theatre, Cardinal Stage Company, Williamston Theatre, Brown County Playhouse, and many others. Ryan has taught lighting design at Michigan State University and Indiana University. He has a Master of Fine Arts degree in Lighting Design from Indiana University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Eastern Washington University. He is skilled in AutoCAD, AG132 and several other drafting and simulation programs. Ryan's responsibilities at Techlite include lighting design, simulation, system commissioning, and technical assistance.
Amanda Paetz , a graduate of Ivy Tech, Indianapolis, joined Techlite in 2016 as a customer service representative responsible for assisting the sales department, expediting and project management.
Cassi Hatter joined Techlite in 2010 as a customer service representative. Her responsibilities include assisting the project management team on the commercial side of the company business.
Cathy Vormbrock joined Techlite in 2006 with 12 years experience in the lighting industry. She is responsible for assisting the sales department, expediting, and project management.
Eric M. Powell a graduate of Indiana University, joined Techlite with ten years experience in the commercial and industrial electrical industry. His primary responsibilities include project management, expediting and sales support.
Glenda Kehl a graduate of Porter Business College, has been with Techlite since 1991. She is a veteran in the lighting industry with over 20 years experience. Her responsibilities include inside sales, project management, and customer service.
Matthew Bibb , a 2012 marketing graduate from the University of Kentucky, joined Techlite in 2012. His responsibilities include assisting customer service and inside sales with expediting and project management.
Tammy Alexander a graduate of Texas A&M University, jointed Techlite in 2015. She has extensive experience in construction company project management, accounting and office management. Her responsibilities at Techlite include customer service, assisting the sales department, expediting and overall project management.
Chris Morton joined Techlite in 2016 with extensive electrical industry experience in project management, quotes, sales and customer service. He holds an electrician's license from Associated Builders Contractors and attended Indiana University majoring in Computer Science and Business.
Jill King started with Techlite in 1989. Her responsibilities include management of all areas of accounting including: payables, receivables, profit & loss statements, payroll, and MAS90 software.
Sharon Clark joined Techlite as a special projects manager in the administrative area and serves as an assistant in accounting, human resources and customer service.
Holly Jenkins has been with Techlite since 2001. Jenkins, a Muncie native, was previously a Receptionist at Ball Hospital Blood Bank and a Court Clerk at Delaware County Court System. Her current duties include all administrative management, incoming phone calls, computer entry, mail distribution and greeting customers and sales representatives.
