PRESIDENT
David McDowell has been President and owner of Techlite since 1987 and specializes in project evaluation, total lighting applications, and lighting consultation. A native of Indianapolis, McDowell is a graduate of Indiana University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Marketing.
VICE PRESIDENT/SALES
Steve Bates joined Techlite in March 2000. He received a BS in Business from Ball State University and an MBA from the University of Indianapolis. He has been in the lighting industry for 22 years and handles specification, contractor, distributor, and D.O.T. sales.
Tom McDowell has been with Techlite since 1989. His professional experience started with Young Automotive Group where he held the position of Executive Manager for 12 years. His responsibilities include distribution and contractor sales along with handling the multi-family and hotel/motel market.
SALES
E. Eugene Purdue is an Evansville, Indiana native and an Alumni of the University of Evansville with graduate work at the Indianapolis Purdue Univ. extension. He joined Techlite in June, 2007 with 45 years experience in the lighting industry. He is responsible for sales in Southwestern and Northeastern Indiana areas, primarily working design and specifications.
Gina Wibbeler earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Telecommunications, Sales and Management from Ball State University. She is responsible for sales and service to local distributors and showroom clients.
Pat Yacobozzi joined Techlite in 2006 with 24 years of lighting industry experience. Her industry experience include downlighting, track, decorative, architectural linear, architectural exterior, custom and others. At Techlite her focus is on architects and interior designers.
DISTRIBUTOR/SHOWROOM SALE
Patrick McDowell joined Techlite fresh out of Indiana University where he majored in Telecommunications. His responsibilities include: Juno Lighting Group Distribution Sales, Contractor Sales and Specification Sales for Lafayette, South Bend and the Fort Wayne markets.
APPLICATIONS MANAGER
Martin Smithson Smithson holds an AGI-32 license, a BSBA from Indiana Wesleyan, and an electronics degree from Ivy Tech. His responsibilities include lighting design and technical assistance.
LIGHTING APPLICATIONS SPECIALIST
Lois Spivey joined Techlite in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design from Bowling Green State University. She is Auto-CAD, AGI-32 and ALA certified, and is a member of ASID. Her primary responsibilities at Techlite include lighting design and technical assistance.
CUSTOMER SERVICE
Ashley Pierce joined Techlite in 2006 after working several years in the shipping logistics industry. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from DePauw University. Her responsibilities include customer service and project management.
Cathy Vormbrock joined Techlite in 2006 with 12 years experience in the lighting industry. She is responsible for assisting the sales department, expediting, and project management.
Diane Birdwell holds a Bachelor of General Studies degree from Indiana University. Her customer service duties include assisting the sales department, expediting, and project management.
Glenda Kehl a graduate of Porter Business College, has been with Techlite since 1991. She is a veteran in the lighting industry with over 20 years experience. Her responsibilities include inside sales, project management, and customer service.
Pamela Mathias joined Techlite as a customer service rep in 2005 after several years in the commercial construction industry. She holds an associate degree in office administration from Ferris State College.
QUOTATIONS MANAGER
Mary Wenz Wenz joined Techlite in 2008 with 18 years experience on the distributor side of the business, specializing in project management and quotations.
ACCOUNTING MANAGER
Jill King started with Techlite in 1989. Her responsibilities include management of all areas of accounting including: payables, receivables, profit & loss statements, payroll, and MAS90 software.
ACCOUNTING
Rosanne Wilson handles the commissions and accounts receivable for Techlite as well as IRS documentation. She is a native of Indianapolis and has been with Techlite since 1987.
SPECIAL PROJECTS/ADMINISTRATION
Sharon Clark joined Techlite as a special projects manager in the administrative area and serves as an assistant in accounting/human resources and customer service.
RECEPTIONIST
Holly Jenkins has been with Techlite since 2001. Jenkins, a Muncie native, was previously a Receptionist at Ball Hospital Blood Bank and a Court Clerk at Delaware County Court System. Her current duties include all administrative management, incoming phone calls, computer entry, mail distribution and greeting customers and sales representatives.
